Fast Breaking Technology and Application of Large-Capacity Circuit Breaker for DC Distribution System

Established a mathematical model of large-capacity DC switching arc under complex conditions; solved the bottleneck problem of air DC circuit breaker grating cutting arc model simulation for the first time;

Put forward a large-capacity DC switching arc regulation method; improve the air DC circuit breaker breaking capacity significantly; developed a 4kV/70kA DC circuit breaker;

Invented a new technology of liquid metal composite energy dissipation; solved the problem of high electromagnetic energy dissipation in the process of DC circuit breaker breaking in small space;

Developed the first set of 126kV fluorine-free environmentally friendly GIS; It signifies that we make a significant breakthrough in the R&D of environmentally friendly switchgear products at transmission voltage in China.

The project won Second Prize of National Technical Invention Award in 2016.
